Speaking of Vosne-Romanée …

“There are no common wines in Vosne-Romanée,” wrote Father Claude Courtépée at the end of the 18th century.

Echézeaux Grand Cru

This vineyard is located between the Clos de Vougeot, and the village of Vosne-Romanée, on the hillside with a very gentle slope. Our plot, located in the climat called “Les Treux”, is on a brown limestone soil. The vineyard was planted in the 1935’s, the western part of the plot was replanted in 1983.

Vosne-Romanée 1 er cru ” Les Petits Monts”

Our plot is planted across the steep slope, with a north / south orientation. The soil is clay-limestone, very stony, and has very good drainage. The roots are forced to go down very deeply into the rock to get water and nutrients. The vineyard was planted between 1934 and 1935.

Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits

The grape variety is 100% Pinot Noir.

Our 3.5 hectares vineyard is on the top of the hillside immediately above Nuits-Saint-Georges and Vosne-Romanée, in the climat ” AU DEFOI”. The clay-limestone soils result from the alteration of the limestones and marls of the substrate, with a very marked ferruginous content, the “red earth”. The soil is shallow and very stony. The vineyard was planted in the 60s and 70s.
